• Quick-Toggle Lacing System: Allows for rapid and secure adjustments, ensuring a snug and personalized fit. Traditional laces are also included for user preference.

Midsole:

• 35% Sugarcane EVA Midsole: Offers responsive and sustainable cushioning, providing a balanced ride for all-day wear. The compression-molded EVA delivers impact absorption and a comfortable underfoot feel.   

Outsole:

• Vibram® EcoStep Recycle EVO Outsole: Composed of 30% regrind recycled rubber, this outsole delivers reliable grip and durability across various surfaces, from city streets to light trails. The lug pattern is designed to balance traction on varied terrain with smooth rolling on pavement.  

Insole:

• 50% Soy-Based Sockliner: Provides additional underfoot comfort and contributes to the shoe’s eco-conscious construction.   

Stability and Cushion:

• Neutral Stability: Designed for individuals with a neutral gait, the shoe offers inherent stability through a wider base and Active Foot Frame geometry without excessive correction.   
• Balanced Cushion: Features a moderate cushioning profile that aims to provide protection while maintaining a responsive feel for an efficient push-off.

Tech Tips for Your Hoka Transport GTX:

• Lacing: Experiment with the quick-toggle system to find the optimal tension for different activities. Ensure the toggle is fully locked to prevent loosening. If you prefer a more traditional feel, swap to the included laces.
• Waterproof Performance: While the GORE-TEX membrane is waterproof, ensure the upper is not compromised by tears or punctures for optimal performance in wet conditions.   
• Sock Choice: For enhanced comfort and moisture management, consider pairing your Transport GTX shoes with moisture-wicking socks, especially during more intense activity or warmer weather. Merino wool socks can be particularly effective in various conditions.
• Cleaning: To clean your shoes, use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, which can damage the waterproof membrane and materials. Allow them to air dry completely.
• Traction on Smooth Surfaces: Some users may experience slight squeaking on very smooth indoor surfaces due to the Vibram outsole’s grip. This is normal and typically diminishes with wear.
